Curse and the Cure: Diverse, Original and Never Auto Tuned

Curse and The Cure ~ As true artists and performers, no matter what, the band will never lip sync their material.  Even in the event that one of them may be sick or have vocal issues, they just make the best of it.

Curse and the Cure is a very eclectic act who blow you away with their amazing harmonies.  Regardless whether they perform an intimate acoustic show or full band, this group will leave you talking about their music, and the memories, from seeing them live.

The group is made of Jason Touchette and Norma Hopson, who have been described as a soulful and melodic combination like you’ve never heard before. The music scene has started taking notice of Curse and the Cure.  Recently the group was asked to perform as a replacement for Jamey Johnson at the Brazos Valley Country Music Festival in Bryan/ College Station, Texas as direct support for Pat Green.  They also performed at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo as the opening act for the legendary Reba McEntire.

This Southeast Texas act is definitely blazing a trail that has people talking as well as playing sold out shows. With the release of their EP entitled “Carnival”, it is a safe bet that Curse and the Cure will be around for years to come. The band started out a little over a year ago in February 2014.   Norma Hopson was playing solo vocally and eventually was introduced to Jason Touchette by the drummer from American Sun.  Norma had been playing music with them prior to the group forming.
